Integrate Canto Cumulus Server in SAP MDM? Here's how:

Vitras Canto integrates the media server in SAP MDM using Web services. SAP MDM can accept data from the media server via a specially integrated portal if a portal-care and display of MDM data is desired. Alternatively, integration over the WEB-Tab function of Data Manager is to be made.

No new concept but integration "on the fly".

In the SAP Portal, connections are made between the iViews to provide information from the SAP MDM to the receiver services. In general, key information is given here. This information can either be used for searching or for direct display, depending on what is needed.

Increase of functionality and control.

The functions in the detail of the iView Canto Cumulus server can be used to perform searches for unlinked objects and to link the images found. For non-online and download images (e.g. too large format from catalog creation or wrong format for internet presentation), format conversion, retouching, etc. can be requested. A link in SAP MDM is created automatically.
